11+ (Eleven Plus) is a test taken by children in the UK that determines whether or not they can be entrered into Grammar Schools. The test is taken in Year 6 at primary school by children entering secondary school the following September. Once a child passes the test, they are then able to apply to a grammar school.
Passing the exam does not guarantee a place as grammar schools may become oversubscribed.
